Real home cooking and the best homemade yeast rolls ever. Ask for the recipe and they'll be glad to share it with you.

If you're just passing through, or on a tour, or no matter the reason, stop here! The food is to die for, and the staff is as friendly as they come in the bible belt. Southern eating, and southern hospitality around.

The best fried chicken I've had in a long time. This is a very cozy place to refuel before checking out the rest of the town. You won't forget it!

Historical place. This is the town where the Bowie Knife was made for Jim Bowie. The tavern is what it used to be before Prohibition, so now it is in a dry county(no grog for you). But if you are into period stuff and want the ambiance of history around you, then you will enjoy having a bite here. I recommend eating out on the porch if the weather is right. Not a foodie experience.

There's 3 things I like and both of em is chicken fried steak fromWilliams Tavern!
